About
The Society operates a miniature railway in Abbotsfield Park since 1948 at Chassen Road, Flixton, in the Borough of Trafford, Manchester. We run every Sunday throughout the year except Christmas Day. And some Bank Holidays. Weather, locomotive and staffing permitting. The railway is a continuous circuit of 2200 feet (670 metres) of raised track comprising both 3 1/2" and 5" gauges. It is one of the largest elevated tracks in the country.
