Lockwood Beck is a coarse fishery offering peace, quiet, stunning scenery and excellent stocks of perch and roach in the 60 acres of clear water. It is a must for coarse fishing enthusiasts. There is plenty of fishing opportunities across the one and quarter miles of bank space. Permits for this fishery can be purchased at Scaling Dam Reservoir Visitor Centre ten minutes south towards Whitby.
