Darlington Markets is a collective of independent businesses in the heart of the town, in and around the historic Victorian Covered Market building! The surround of the building is populated with a number of contemporary bars and cafes, including The Vault, Banqo: Eat & Drink, and Viking Coffee. Inside we have the well established Street Food Hall which is home to 6 independent Street Food businesses and the Market Tap bar. This is host to weekly live entertainment and events such as the Market Quiz and local performers. The Market Hall is currently under redevelopment, but is due to launch in Spring 2024 as The Collective at Darlington Market, and will be home to a range of small business with a good blend of retail and food and beverage. JJ Blairs Greengrocers, David Jacksons Butchers, and The Urban Deli are all continuing to trade throughout the works. Our Outdoor Market, or the West Row Street Market, trades Mon, Fri, and Sat every week, along with other large scale events!
