You will feel at home in the Crown & Anchor’s homely and stylish surroundings, with its beautiful oak panelling and flagstone flooring. Dating back to 1840, the inn has been meticulously decorated with every corner holding hand-picked antiques, artwork and local memorabilia. Whilst the restaurant seats 50, a private dining area has been designed to cater for more intimate gatherings with family, friends and colleagues. A garden terrace has been added to provide plenty of space to while away those long sunny summer afternoons. Situated midway between Newbury and Marlborough, just one and a half hours from London, the Crown & Anchor is the ideal place to put your feet up and enjoy the quiet of local village life.
