Finchale Abbey ADULT ONLY Touring park is set in the meander of the river weir next to the beautiful ruins of Finchale priory, 4 miles from the centre of Durham city. The park has many fantastic walks around even a field where the dogs can be let off the lead The city is only 1 hours walk from the park or there is excellent park and ride We request that dogs are not continuously allowed to bark, as visitors with out dogs do complain about this as it spoils the tranquil setting that we boast about and are very proud of Come and try us you won’t be disappointed
