Welcome to Platform 33 on South Shields beach front nestled beside the famous sand dunes serving great coffee, tasty traditional pub food and our ‘carvery on the coast’ everyday 12-7pm and with our buffet breakfast served every morning from 9am we really have it all! Offering a wide variety of drinks including ales, casks, a lovely selection of gins and of course cocktails. Come and join us for a bite to eat and enjoy our fabulous sea views from the luxurious cosy surroundings, dogs are welcome in the bar area and our two gated booths, they will be pleased to have their complimentary snacks and water and even better... the doggy menu! Platform 33 was previously known as the Marsden Rattler which was steeped in local history from the original train carriages to the clock tower from Newcastle’s Manor Station; It is now owned and operated by the Promenade, Seaburn, with our friendly staff and warm welcome its the perfect place to bring the family or meet with friends.
