Welcome to The Electrical Wizard; officially opened in Morpeth on March the 15th 2011. Part of the JD Wetherspoon chain we have great offers on both food and drink. This JDW pub on the site of the former Szoda bar was named after Dr Walford Brodie who was know as 'The Electrical Wizard of the North' , the Scottish born entertainer was famous for 'shocking' magic tricks using electricity and even an electric chair, as well as being the star turn at the Colosseum throughout the 1930's.
