Nestled in a restored 17th-century manse, the Hearth Arts Centre supports the arts, heritage, and culture in a rural setting. The Hearth features eight artist studios, a beloved café, and spaces for hire. We run a diverse range of art workshops, courses and classes, led by practitioners from the NE. Delve into a world of music, performance and film from Highlights Rural Touring Scheme, Tyne Valley Film Festival and local booking agents. Our Biannual Art Fairs & Open Studios are known for their diverse range of artefacts and gifts. Art, culture and community converge as people from all walks of life come together to create, learn and connect with their passions. Located just 11 miles west of Newcastle, 10 miles from Hexham, and 7 miles from Corbridge, The Café and Studios are open during regular hours, whilst the Arts Centre is available during scheduled events.
