The whistle inn is a 300yr old pub and caravan park nestled on the side of a mountain at present is the highest pub in Wales, in close proximity to Garn Lakes, keepers pond and the Big Pit, the pub also has a train station, where steam trains run during the summer months from Blaenavon heritage railway old sidings to the Whistle Inn and Big pit every weekend and bank holiday, the pub itself is cosy with open fires and great views across the valleys, there are plenty of walks and cycle routes within close proximity.
