Bladnoch Distillery, founded in 1817, proudly stands as the oldest independently owned Scotch whisky distillery in Scotland. The 18‑th‑century‑style distillery showcases a bold Galloway spirit, with three distinct whisky collections – The Bold, The Galloway, and The Spirited – each telling its own part of the distillery’s rich heritage. Visitors can explore the onsite Visitor Centre and the newly opened Café Melba (10 AM–4 PM) while taking guided tours that depart at 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM from Tuesday to Saturday. The warm, historic atmosphere and the opportunity to sample a range of exclusive drams (starting at €7.95) make Bladnoch a must‑visit for whisky aficionados and curious tourists alike.
