Sheringham Park
About
Sheringham Park is a National Trust landmark, designed by landscape architect Humphry Repton in the early 19th century. Covering almost 1,000 acres, it offers sweeping coastal vistas, mature woodlands, and a nationally‑important collection of rhododendrons and azaleas in the Wild Garden. Visitors can stroll the tree‑lined drive to the 18th‑century temple, explore the tranquil bower garden, and ascend the scenic gazebo for 360° views of the Norfolk coast. The free‑entry park also hosts a Courtyard Café serving sandwiches, cakes, and hot drinks, as well as a small bookshop selling donated titles. Whether you’re a wildlife watcher, a history buff, or a family looking for a leisurely day out, Sheringham Park blends natural beauty, cultural heritage, and accessible facilities to create a memorable experience.
