The park contains a wildlife wetland area, a pond-dipping platform, a bird hide, a small flock of sheep, an orchard of local and heritage fruit varieties, native trees and bushes, a traditionally-built information centre, two zip-wires, an assault course (suitable for younger teenagers) and two picnic areas.
