Why 'the 1867'? In July 2022 it was decided that we really should celebrate the beautiful buildings that are here at the Heart of the Shires Shopping Village. Next time you are here, have a close look at the way the buildings were built, particularly the brickwork. The local stonemasons in the 1860's were very creative back then. You will see on the gable end of one of the barns, 1867 clearly visible. Those of you that have been to our eatery lately will have seen the internal changes and thank you all for your lovely comments. We are a friendly bunch here at 1867 so please feel free to pop in, relax and enjoy your stay. We do get very busy between 11.30-2.30pm every day. You can reserve a table if time is tight by visiting our website. Or when you arrive at the shopping village just pop in and if we don't have a table immediately we can give you a call just as soon we have availability.
