The Pennoyer Centre
About
Our licensed café is different - we are a registered charity with very high standards, based in a unique building that combines a 15th century chapel with 21st century additions. You can discover our fascinating history in our free airship museum upstairs. All dishes are freshly prepared in our kitchen using local ingredients wherever possible - the lower the food miles the better! Our fabulous cakes are made by our award-winning volunteer 'Bakeforce' and will always include gluten-free. For lunch, we offer fresh soups, salads, sandwiches and delicious specials of the day. Sit outside overlooking the pleasant centre of the village or choose a table in the airy Guild Chapel or sunny Old Schoolroom (with a view of the cake cabinet!). Inside, our dog-friendly table offers free biscuits for your canine companion. Located between Diss and Harleston, we are a good stop-off for walkers as well as cycling groups (with a secure site for expensive bikes while you refuel).
