Can't Resist Cakes has turned into a little empire and now has the honour of being situated on Bath Street in Ilkeston town centre! We have opened up a Coffee Shop where you can buy our scrummy home bakes such as Caramel and Chocolate Layered Cake, Chocolate Overload, Cheesecakes and Traditional Cream Teas to eat in our Retro surroundings or Takeaway and eat at your leisure! We have sourced some beautifully tasting tradionally-made bread, from award winning Bakery Hambletons. A sourdough is used for our very popular Retro Doorstep Cheese on Toast. Our Toasted Sarnies go down a treat and are a meal in themselves with side salad and home made coleslaw! Our freshly ground coffee takes some beating, so come and try your favourites such as Lattes and Cappucinos. Want something cold and refreshing then try out our Frappes, there are so many flavours to choose from such as Strawberries and Cream, Chocolate, Pineapple Coconut and White Chocolate! Do you have a wedding or celebration coming up then we also specialise in celebration cakes. Please browse our albums to look at some of our creations. We offer a unique service where we work with you to create your perfect cake whether it be a wedding or a birthday celebration. We use only the finest ingredients including the use of free range eggs. We have many returning customers saying 'they have never tasted or seen cakes like ours'.
