The Great Northern is a recently refurbished freehold purchased from Greene King early 2013. The pub was renovated to a very high standard by Pub People and reopened in June of that year. The pub sits just off a junction from the busy A610 to Ripley from Nottingham and backs onto the canal, making it a hotspot in the summer. Food serving times; Mon-Fri: 12pm-2:30 then 5pm-8pm Sat: 12pm-8pm Sun: 12pm-6pm
