May Sum Buffet Restaurant
About
May Sum Buffet Restaurant, nestled in the heart of Nottingham’s city centre, is a family‑run Pan‑Asian buffet that has been delighting diners since 2002. The restaurant features an expansive self‑service spread of over 120 dishes, drawing from Chinese, Malaysian, Thai, sushi and other Far‑East favourites. Guests can choose from a wide variety of starters, main courses, salads, sauces, sides and desserts, including a live teppanyaki cooking station in the evening. Lunch buffet is served from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for £12.95 (and £13.95 on weekends), while the evening menu runs from 5:30 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. for £16.95 (Mond‑Thu) and £18.95 (Fri‑Sat). A 1½‑hour maximum stay is recommended for both lunch and dinner, and the restaurant’s friendly staff encourage diners to plan their visit accordingly. The venue is renowned for its family‑friendly atmosphere, complimentary function room for small events and an on‑site karaoke system. Although walk‑in service is the default, we advise that groups of five or more book in advance to secure seating, and outside drinks are not permitted on premises.
