About

Based in an old coaching inn and posting house, this is the UK's most comprehensive and extensive collection of equestrian artefacts. It represents the history of all of us; from travel and transport to war and recreation, from agriculture to industry, all were powered by the horse and many rare items tell these stories. Nine rooms and two major passageways are all full of interest. See an original Mail Coach and a two hundred-year-old sleigh. You can even have cream teas in the courtyard and adjacent cafe too!
