Nottingham Greyhound Stadium, located just two miles south of Nottingham’s city centre in the scenic Colwick Park, is the premier venue for greyhound racing in the East Midlands. Built on the former racecourse site and opened in 1980, the stadium boasts a 437‑metre sand track and a capacity of 1,500. It hosts a full programme of racing throughout the year, with marquee events such as the Select Stakes, Puppy Classic, and the Eclipse Stakes. Beyond the thrill of racing, visitors can enjoy on‑site hospitality including a fine‑dining restaurant, three bars and a snack bar, as well as free parking. The track is easily accessible by car and public transport, and its modern facilities make it an attractive destination for families, racing enthusiasts and corporate guests alike. Opening hours are Monday 5:30 pm–9:30 pm, Wednesday and Thursday 10:45 am–2:14 pm, Saturday 4:00 pm–9:30 pm; Tuesday, Friday and Sunday are closed.
