Royal Crown Derby
About
Royal Crown Derby traces its history back to 1750 and is still producing fine bone china in Derbyshire, England today. At our factory on the Osmaston Road we make distinguished, authentic English fine bone china tableware, giftware and collectables. The present factory was established in 1878, but the business traces its origins to the original factory which was set up in Nottingham Road in about 1750. Queen Victoria granted permission to include the title "Royal" in the company name in 1890. As the visitor offer recovers from the pandemic we are offering pre-booked tours of our stunning museum collections guided by the museum director you will be able to handle items illustrating the fascinating stories behind the people and processes which made Royal Crown Derby the iconic brand it is today.
