About

We are the last major bellfoundry in Britain. Consisting of two Grade II* listed Victorian factory buildings, the bellfoundry is a unique place with global architectural and historical significance. Home to historic bellfounders John Taylor & Company, the ancient craft of bellfounding has been practiced here since 1859. The bellfoundry is home to Britain’s only bell museum and an extensive company archive, ran by the Loughborough Bellfoundry Trust. We currently offer guided tours of the full foundry works.
