The Barn was lovingly converted 20 years ago retaining all its best features such as the impressive pitch pine beams that run throughout and the aeration patterns in the brickwork. It was designed ‘upside-down’ compared to conventional houses with the 4 bedrooms downstairs which sleep up to 8 guests comfortably and a fantastic open-plan living area upstairs. The Haybarn is a mix of old and modern and equipped with everything needed for a fantastic holiday. Located in a prime area to take advantage of the many day trips and activities available in both Wales and Shropshire. Also as the house was built directly on Offa's Dyke there are a large number of paths and routes to take advantage of and enjoy right on the doorstep. The upstairs living space includes a top of the range clear view log-burner which creates a great atmosphere and is very welcoming after a long walk or just to chillout in front of and watch TV. There is a galley styled kitchen that overlooks the dining and living space so the cook(s) will never feel left out. The bedrooms are great for families or large groups and are comprised of one king size room (with a double day bed), 2 double rooms and a double bunk-bed room. There is also a small games room with a Nintendo wii, flatscreen TV, and boardgames. Wifi is free and can be used throughout the house. There is loads of room for kids to run around and also plenty of space for up to 5 cars, the house has two private gardens with garden furniture, a barbeque, badminton, and a basketball court in the summer months, also there are lots of stunning walks right from the door of the house that lead to the forest behind the house and around the historic village of Leighton.
