About
Pistyll Rhaeadr is Wales’ most photographed waterfall, dropping 32 metre (105 ft) through a dramatic natural arch onto a small rocky pool. Located in the village of Llanrhaeadr‑ym‑Mochnant, the site is easily accessible by car, bus or a short uphill walk from the village centre. A modern visitor centre offers maps, a small museum and a viewing platform that gives panoramic views of the surrounding Berwyn hills and Lake Vyrnwy. The walk around the falls is gentle and suitable for hikers of all ages, making it one of the country’s most family‑friendly natural attractions.
