The Steading Hearthstanes Estate

Hearthstanes Estate is located 35 miles south of Edinburgh in the Scottish Borders. The Estate is a traditional upland sheep and cattle farm with extensive forestry and Red Deer paddocks. Our original field stone and slate farm buildings have been lovingly converted into four dwellings. Each has its own living-room and kitchen, and between one and three bedrooms with their own bathrooms. In total we can accommodate up to 20 guests. We offer wonderful natural scenery for hiking, biking, fishing, dog walking, falconry, Sika and Roe deer stalking, and sightseeing.
