Arra Venton was once both chapel and smithy. With its companions in Lower Porthmeor, it forms a typical farm hamlet on a green coastal shelf between moors and the Atlantic cliffs just west of St Ives. Arra Venton can be booked for short breaks with the Landmark Trust, a charity that restores historic buildings at risk and makes them available for holidays.
