Welcome to Devonport Live Cafe and Venue. This project has been brought together thanks to the support of Devonport Community Land Trust, Devonport Community Leisure LTD and the Devonport Neighborhood board - All working together to create a neighborhood partnership which can delivercapacity building projects for the people of Devonport. The primary aim of this project was to bring the George Street Shops back into use. We have done this by Creating a community space, where through fresh food, art, crafts and creative practices, we can encourage community activity within the local area. With the opening of this space comes a variety of exciting opportunities for the community - especially local artists, photographers and crafters who now have a space to sell their work! If you want to sell something in the space, then speak to one of the team. As far as possible, all our food is made fresh every day, from delicious soup to fresh cakes made daily! The space is staffed by local people and apprentices who are being fully trained in all aspects of running a small business - if you are interested in getting involved then please speak to a member of the team. From arts exhibitions, to film screenings and parent and toddler groups we want to put on activities for the whole community that is of benefit and helps to support a cohesive neighborhood.
