Port Eliot Gardens are open every day from 10am to 5pm - except during private events (please check website for details) Port Eliot House is open for tours, available to book through the Port Eliot website. Port Eliot is one of the most beautiful places in Cornwall. The House and Gardens are extremely ancient and have been lived in for over 1,000 years. The House was remodelled by Sir John Soane in the eighteenth century and sits in a romantic landscape laid out by Humphrey Repton which stretches down to a secret estuary on the river Tamar.
