We are a family run village pub in the idilic village of Caio. Our open fire sits as the center piece of the pub along with many other original features such as the wooden beams. Our food is fresh, home made with locally sourced produce. From our home made steak and mushrooom pie, to our Welsh lamb steak with leeks, bacon and Caerphilly cheese. We have many great offers from a steak night on a Wednesday, a 2 course menu for £10.95 on a Thursday evening (only menu served on a Thursday evening). Beer battered Fish and chips served all day Friday for £6.95. Lunch time specials for £6.95. Sunday carvery for £7.95. Essential to book. Also we do afternoon teas for £12.50 per person. 48hours notice required. We serve one local real ale on tap ( busy times 2). We have two guests rooms, one being a double room en suite, and one twin bedroom en suite (small bathroom).
