Fabulous location. Moelwyn cottage is perfectly placed to explore the heart of Snowdonia. It is a cosy, fully renovated Welsh miner's cottage. It has an open plan living space whilst preserving its original features including exposed stonework, beams and inglenook fireplace. It is situated overlooking the stream on the edge of the village in a very quiet location with no passing traffic, with lovely views to the front and in the lee of the dramatic Moelwyn mountains. There are fabulous walks straight from the door and so much to do in the local area including mountain biking and zip wire activities. Tanygrisiau lake, lakeside cafe and the station for the renowned narrow gauge Ffestiniogg steam railway are just a 2 minute walk. There is a pub further up in the village, all day-to-day amenities including supermarket, pubs restaurants and leisure centre with swimming pool are available in nearby Blaenau Ffesiniogg 1.5 miles away. This cottage would be perfect for a romantic break for two, or for a break for a small family, it has two bedrooms and can sleep up to four people. Bed linen and towels (not beach towels) are provided. Electricity and gas for cooking/central heating is also included. A small selection of games/DVD’s available for use. An OS map is on the wall for planning the day’s activities.
