Located in the beautiful Forest of Bowland, 25 luxury bedrooms along with a self catering cottage, The Piggeries. The Inn deservedly has a good reputation and many awards for its food. Head Chef Jamie Cadman, now in his twentieth year, runs a crew of ten producing brilliant local food. Ales from the area and old favorites fill the bar, not forgetting the extensive wine list sourced from our very own on site vintners, Forest Bowland Vintners. All our bedrooms are very different. We use great fabrics, lovely old furniture and the best prints and pictures we can. Fourteen bedrooms have open fires making those winter evenings a little more special. Many of our bathrooms have beautifully restored Victorian cabinet baths. Their size and beauty only bettered by their complexity and fun, sheer bathing heaven. For those who prefer modern thermostats we have plenty of bathrooms with efficient Teutonic fittings, we won’t hold it against you, really! The Inn is perfectly located for those who like to revel in the beauty of our fell or moorland, just pull on your boots and head out of the front door. This can be more passively enjoyed with a glass of wine by the fire or in the river side garden. Walking, Fishing, Shooting, local Golf Course are just a few of the attractions too.
