The café at Bivouac is situated in a converted barn on the edge of the moors in the Yorkshire Dales. The surrounding views are breath taking, and the Druid's Temple, a folly which comprises of a main stone circle and several other features, is a short walk away in the nearby woods which have extensive walking trails.There is outdoor seating along with an inner courtyard (with pizza oven), and within the stylishly decorated barn there is a mezzanine floor with log burner and a room below dedicated to families with a play area.Honest wholesome food is served, with breakfast, lunch, dinner and light snacks on the menu throughout the year (although limited to weekends in January). Advance booking is required for dinner. For those staying at Bivouac in the yurts or woodland shacks, there is also a take-out service available. Group bookings can be taken, and there is a picnic menu available (particularly popular with walking groups staying in the 12 bed bunk barn).There is a busy schedule of events and activities on offer including quiz nights, pizza workshops, pottery painting and busking at the bar.
