The Queen’s Head is a traditional country inn nestled deep in the Chalke Valley. We are a popular village pub with a pretty terraced beer garden, 2 bars showcasing locally produced beers, ales & ciders and a busy restaurant specialising in fresh seasonal British cooking with a creative twist using great quality locally produced ingredients wherever possible. We have 4 guest rooms with king sized or twin single beds with en-suite bathrooms, all with doors out into the beer garden, 2 on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor. They all have large flat-screen TVs, free WiFi, coffee & tea making facilities, ironing facilities, and a hair dryer. We have off-street parking to the rear of the pub. We offer a full English breakfast along with lighter alternatives within the price of the room. We have ONE dog friendly room, number 4, which is also our family room. It has a king sized bed, a single bed and room for a folding bed if needed. Well-behaved dogs are allowed on a lead in our bars and garden but not in our restaurant. The ANOB of Cranborne Chase provides lots of beautiful walking and cycling country. Salisbury Cathedral 15 mins drive away, Stonehenge 25 mins drive away. Popular village shop next door.
