We’ve lovingly hand built two hideaways (both for 2 adults), tucked away in the tiny village of Ellerburn, a peaceful valley within the North York Moors National Park. Choose from our beautiful shepherds hut or Skandi inspired cabin, or perhaps you’ll decide to book both hideaways for a getaway with friends or family. Gumboots & Wellingtons is a perfect base from which to explore this lovely little corner of North Yorkshire. You can stroll to the picturesque village of Thornton le Dale in 20 minutes (where you’ll find good pubs, restaurants & ice cream!) or enjoy exploring the cycle/walking trails into Dalby Forest right from the doorstep. Further afield, we are within easy reach of stunning beaches and fab foodie market towns.
