Sitting beneath Buckden Pike with breathtaking views of Upper Wharfedale, Romany Cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The Dalesway, Lady Annes Way and The Pennine Journey pass through this charming village, attracting walkers from around the globe. Excellent dining is available locally which we're happy to arrange on your behalf. Buckden is in a Dark Sky Reserve, on a clear night The Milky Way can be seen here. Whether you're walking, cycling (safe storage available) or just want to get away from it all, dog friendly Romany Cottage is now open following extensive renovations, and we are looking forward to welcoming guests! Guest accommodation is self-contained with 2 en-suite bedrooms, which can be configured to be either twin bedded or super king. Guests have exclusive use of the lounge with comfortable sofas, log burning stove and large screen TV, and there is also comfortable seating in the garden with stunning views. We are not licensed to provide alcoholic beverages, so please feel free to bring your own and we can provide the glasses and ice!
