Based at the Hope Valley Garden Centre in Bamford, the Creative Pottery Studio is in the heart of the Hope Valley. With ample space for parking and close links by bus and train, the studio offers a unique experience of pottery making that can be tailored to suit both individuals and small groups of all ages. The studio was set up with the aim of helping local people to use or extend their knowledge of the materials and methods used in creating pottery. The pottery offers a range of courses and bespoke workshops in all aspects of pottery making. From modelling and sculpture through hand building and wheel work to glazing and decorating, there is something for everyone. Whether you are a beginner or experienced artist there is always something new to learn. If you're curious about pottery, you can book a taster session.
