Sat perfectly in the heart of Hoyland, we're a chippy that does chippy things *properly*: traditionally; the Yorkshire way; & in beef dripping only. Downstairs is a lovely old fashioned Barnsley chip-shop obsessed with the finest quality products. And up the stairs above it is an even lovelier, equally obsessed Restaurant (/real ale pub/venue/room-for-hire). We try to have as many events on as possible, and manage most Saturday's to get an acoustic performer serenading your Fish & Chips. Understandably, we are fully licensed and stock all your favourite ales, lagers, wines and spirits (as well as a few of our own - including the best of local breweries Nailmaker, Bradfield & Watertons revolutionary Dandelion & Burdock flavoured gin). Our restaurant menu is designed to balance value and top-quality perfectly, it is full of efficiently celebrated, local when there's a chance and sustainable (MSC approved) ingredients.
