Idyllically situated in the beautiful Peak District National Park, this quality Bed and Breakfast enjoys wonderful views, personal and friendly hospitality and fine artisan foods at breakfast.We have a 5* Food and Hygiene rating with Derbyshire County Council. We are only 7 minutes walk from the historic, riverside of Bakewell and 2 minutes stroll to the famous Monsal Trail. The Chatsworth and Haddon Estates are a 5 minute drive away. Bakewell itself has plenty of cafes, pubs and shops plus the Old House Museum where you can discover the origin of the Bakewell Pudding! Our lovely double 'Room with a View' offers a mahogany sleigh bed, TV, DVD player, hairdryer and stunning landscape views. There is a private bathroom directly adjacent to your room. We also offer a single, comfortable room with Radio and CD player and shared bathroom. Check in is usually from 4pm and full information, including accessibility can be found by contacting the proprietor. I'm afraid as a small, cottage business, we can't currently accept Credit or Debit cards and kindly request that our guests return from their night out by 11.30pm..
