The Open Kitchen is unique in the Barnsley area as it exists to train chefs and restaurant staff for careers and jobs in the hospitality industry. Staff are trained and overseen by vastly experienced chefs, with menus featuring an array of cuisine inspired by recipes from around the world. We only use freshly prepared ingredients and our menus are complemented by an extensive wine list. Fine dining experiences are available on selected Thursday evenings from 6.30pm. Please visit our website to browse our upcoming dates. Lunch is served from 12pm to 1.15pm, Monday to Friday, and our three-course lunch menu is great value for money at just £14.95pp. Join us for our new 'Chip Shop Fridays' and indulge in a fish and chip lunch for just £6.50. Our Coffee Lounge is open for hot and cold drinks and cakes, to drink and eat in or take away. Coffee and cakes are served from 8am to 3pm, Monday to Thursday, and 2.30pm on Friday.
