The Spireite Freehouse, Tom and Becky welcome you all to Chesterfield's newest beer house. Located directly opposite Chesterfield FC's Proact Stadium on Sheffield Road, Whittington Moor. We serve a range of real ales, craft keg, lagers and ciders. A community hub where live sport and good beer come together. We love live sport almost as much as we love good beer - especially football - and we feel that there is a lack of establishments that offer both good beer and live sport, and we hope to bridge this gap. With Sky Sports, BT Sport and both Racing channels we have got every angle covered. We don't have our screens on all day, every day because we believe that a pub is somewhere for the community to come together and socialise. If there is a live sporting event that you would like to watch we are happy to try and accommodate, so please ask at the bar. We aim to bring you some of the best British beers served from cask and keg. With 6 rotating cask ales including 3 Hopjacker ales and 4 British craft keg beers, lagers and cider we hope to have something for everyone. We offer a regulars card scheme to everybody. For every 7 pints you buy we give you your 8th free. Spend it of save it, it's up to you. They cost £1 to set up which covers the cost of the card. We don't use your details for marketing purposes, just in case you lose your card. For more details please ask a member of staff who will be happy to help. We also aim to be the best matchday pub for all you Spireites and away fans. As such we have installed an external bar in the beer garden to make sure you all get served quickly. We are also planning to have live music, quiz nights, street food events and beer festivals so watch this space for more information.
