The Walter Arms
About
The pub dates back to the 19th century. It was originally built by John Walter III – who owned the Bearwood estate at the time, for the workers on his land to have somewhere to go after a hard day’s toil. The Walter family launched The Times and edited it for many years. With a stunning outdoor courtyard featuring our famous fountain and large heated and covered Pagoda, a large garden and two car parks. An impressive gastro inspired Pan European menu changing seasonally. Vegans & vegetarian are well catered for with us. Food at The Walter Arms is just scrumptious all year round! A drink selection from Rebellion Brewery Ales, to a great pint of Birra Moretti. There is a great selection of old and new world wines, handcrafted Gin's, Rum's, Whisky’s & Vodka's as well as a gorgeous cocktail menu. There is a stunning barn filled with charm and character just across the courtyard from the main pub seating 45 or 120 standing, housing its own bar that can be hired out for events.
