The HMS Gladiator exhibition, a two room exhibit which is aimed at adults or children with a specific interest in local history, it tells the story of the HMS Gladiator disaster that happened at Fort Victoria in 1908 when the warship HMS Gladiator collided with the ocean liner SS St Paul in a blizzard with the loss of 27 Lives, The men of the Royal Engineers stationed at the fort played a vital role in the rescue. The story is told through interpretation panels, a short media display and a selection of period Royal Navy uniforms and artefacts that are on display. There is a charge to enter the exhibition
