Shappen Stores, previously F Moorman & Son, opened our doors in July 2017. Shappen Bottom in Burley, historically the site of the Shappen Fruit & Veg Nursery, was the inspiration behind the naming of both the Shop and Café. The Butchers in Burley has been ever present in the Village since 1908. The Shappen Café opened our doors in October 2022. The building is crafted from Oak, the indigenous tree of the New Forest, the acorn is the Café logo reinforces this. Our vision for the Butchers, Store and Café is to create an ever evolving destination in the beautiful village of Burley where locals and visitors alike can relax and enjoy local produce from our very own Butchers and the many other local suppliers and producers from the counties of Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire. We look forward to welcoming you to Burley!
