About
Set in glorious verdancy, this beautiful public house is nestled halfway between Southampton Water and the New Forest. It was previously a cottage converted into a pub in the late 19th century. It has had an extensive interior refurbishment to reflect its beautiful location and to reintroduce heritage in a friendly, community pub. With its enviable views over a lush valley towards Lytton's Copse in the rear beer garden, one can often see Deer and many species of birds. The Travellers Rest is well placed, directly on the Solent Way and King Charles III Walk England Coastal Path making it an essential stopping point for walkers.
