Natural ink making practitioner, employing materials gathered from the landscape of Essex, England. Providing demonstrations and workshops run throughout the year, employing traditional practices, many uncovered during the artist's own research. Using vintage tools, from his private collection, students will obtain experience through an authentic work practice seldom available on this type of course. Gain hands-on experience using mostly hand tools, and experiment with mark-making using a variety of improvised pens and brushes. Participants get to make their own bottle of ink which they are free to take home with them. Sylak Ravenspine is a self-taught ink maker and art facilitator, supported by a first-class honours degree and is a member of the VAA and the AOI.
