Muswell Manor is a Grade II listed Manor House dating back to 1540. In 1909 (then known as Mussel Manor) the Short Brothers constructed their first aircraft here, namely the Wright "Flyers." The Manor was being used as the headquarters of the Aero Club for the United Kingdom. In our lovely oak beamed bar you will also find a friendly atmosphere for a quiet drink and some pub food on the weekends; dogs (and their owners) are welcome to enjoy our garden area overlooking the fields. In the winter months come and enjoy our log fire in the bar and participate in any pub games we are throwing at the time. The Holiday Park consists of 47 plots (a mix of caravans and chalets) all situated with views of either the big playing field or the surrounding fields, each with a garden area. There are 2 play parks - one for the little kids and one for the bigger ones as well as a set of swings. We are a quiet family oriented holiday park that likes to host mass BBQs when the weather allows and enjoy the peace and quiet holidaying the rural Kent coast has to offer. You can also stay in our bed and breakfast rooms within the Manor house, steeped in history and with views of the surrounding fields.
