The Last Post has been established in Southend since 1995. Originally the city’s post office and now proud to offer 14 en suite rooms, with a choice of twins, doubles or family rooms, all boasting digital temperature control, free unlimited Wi-Fi and Freeview television. We also have interconnecting rooms for larger families; however, unfortunately we do not have rooms for those with disabilities or lift access at our hotel. Southend is a vibrant seaside town on the south of the Essex coastline at the edge of the Thames estuary. The town caters for all, whether it’s shopping on the busy high street, a day out with the family at Adventure Island, a night on the town in the clubs and bars or just a lazy walk along the longest pier in England. The hotel is just a stone’s throw from High Street and only a five-minute walk from the seafront, pier and Adventure Island Park.
