Bedruthan Hotel & Spa
About
Coastal, colourful and creative—since 1959. Just above Mawgan Porth beach, Bedruthan is a cliffside outpost of art and nature. An unexpected Scandi Modern retreat, combining bright Danish design with Californian architecture and Cornish sea air. Bedruthan was always designed as a place for making the most out of these calm coastal days—and sixty years on, we’ve stayed true to that original, easy-living ideal. Two restaurants serve good-natured, sustainable food: The Wild Café is for casual post-surf cooking, while the smaller Ogo is for more intimate evenings of slowly-perfected food. A large communal spa offers a relaxed place of wellbeing, featuring a caldarium, steam room, sauna and holistic treatments (or try Nordic thermal therapy in the outdoor Sensory Spa Garden). The hotel’s art gallery exhibits new Cornish art with a lean towards the abstract, keeping in touch with the nearby artist communities.
