About
Hotel Victoria was a charming Victorian‑Gothic hotel perched on the cliffs above Great Western Beach in Newquay, Cornwall. Built in 1899, it offered sea‑view rooms, an indoor pool, and a unique lift that connected its rooms directly to the beach below—a first in England. After more than a century of hospitality, the hotel closed in November 2024 pending renovation under new ownership.
