Callanish Alpacas

Callanish Alpacas is a charity run drop-in visitor centre located near to the world famous Callanish Stones. Alpacaccinos Café, a gift shop and a toilet are on site. A turquoise double decker bus provides a seating and viewing area! We have 15 alpacas; 11 females, 2 young males and 2 stud males. You can meet Humpty, Dumpty and Wallace our friendly Kunekune pigs and a selection of rare breed sheep plus Dougal, Bob, Bear and Bobo...sheep who just want cuddles! We also have many breeds of bizarre looking chickens, turkeys, ducks and peafowl. All of our animals have names and unique personalities! Walking shoes/boots are highly recommended. There is no charge for admission including an optional guided tour, but a voluntary donation towards the cost of keeping the animals is welcomed.
