Croft Cottage B&B is a traditional stone built cottage, offering comfortable and stylish en-suite accommodation in the small village of Buchlyvie. Situated 2 doors away from the local pub, The Buchlyvie Inn, the B&B has two rooms, a king size and double, so can accommodate up to four people. This small B&B sets high standards and has great reviews on Trip Advisor. With a separate lounge, solely for the use of guests, you can relax with a drink in the evening, watch TV, read, play board games, there's free wifi, ample free parking and Alan serves up a great Scottish breakfast! For cyclists or walkers, you only need to go by road for 5-10 minutes before accessing the disused railway track that takes you to Aberfoyle (7 miles) then right into the heart of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Easy cycling and walking, no cars, great scenery and lots of tracks to explore this lovely part of Scotland. We'll give you local information about things to see and do in the area, from castles to distilleries, golf courses to visitor attractions and let you know about our favourite places - some hidden gems! The village pub and Coffee Shop serve good food and both the Pottery and Green Gallery sell Scottish paintings, gifts and crafts. With easy access to the M9 motorway hub and within an hour's drive of both Glasgow and Edinburgh, the rural setting and lovely scenery mean that you can explore the countryside, with Loch Lomond and the Trossachs right on your doorstep.
